From a Small Birmingham Workshop to 25 Years of Master Craftsmanship

Martin and Colin first met in Birmingham in 1980, in a small, modest workshop filled with fabric, patterns, and big ambitions. What began as a chance meeting quickly grew into a strong friendship, built on shared values, hard work, and a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship.

Over the years, their passion found a clear focus. Creating high-quality flat caps and newsboy caps became their shared calling. With patience, skill, and a constant eye for detail, Martin and Colin refined their craft stitch by stitch. Their workshop became a place where tradition met dedication, and where every cap reflected care and authenticity.

Twenty-five years later, their journey stands as a testament to friendship, passion, and true master craftsmanship, rooted in Birmingham, shaped by time, and defined by quality.

Exceeded all my expectations. The attention to detail is remarkable from the stitching to the material quality and overall build. It's both practical and sharp-looking, and I've been getting compliments left and right.

This hat turned out to be far better than I imagined. Every element is thoughtfully crafted, from the seams to the high-quality fabric. It’s easy to wear day to day but still looks refined in more dressed-up settings. I get asked about it all the time.

C. Miller

It is really amazing. The moment I picked it up, I could feel how good the quality is. The materials are strong and comfortable, the whole cap is very well made and every stitch is neat and clean. It feels durable, looks great, and has quickly become the cap I choose to wear almost every day
